   CONFERÊNCIA INTERNACIONAL ENGENHO & ARTE

   Nos próximos dias 23 e 24 de Abril de 2010 realiza-se a Conferência Internacional "Conversas sobre arte, consciência e práticas transdisciplinares" que terá lugar no Centro Cultural Vila Flôr, em Guimarães. A organização está a cargo do consórcio Artshare em parceria com a Universidade do Porto, a Universidade de Aveiro e o Planetary Collegium e em associação com Guimarães 2012 - Capital Europeia da Cultura. A sessão de encerramento, que decorre no dia 24 de Abril, às 18h00, será presidida pelo Director-Geral das Artes, Jorge Barreto Xavier, que também participará numa mesa redonda com Tom Fleming, Roy Ascott e Rolf Gehlhaar.

   
   

   Serão dois dias de apresentações e discussão sobre arte, consciência e práticas transdisciplinares, com discussão aberta ao público. O ponto de partida é a ligação entre arte e consciência, numa perspectiva artística dinâmica de colaboração em rede das várias áreas do conhecimento: arte, arquitectura, design, ciência e tecnologia.
   
   Este evento pretende gerar uma reflexão em torno da arte e consciência mediadas pela tecnologia e o conhecimento sobre práticas transdisciplinares de criação de conhecimento através dos debates abertos à comunidade, fazendo a transição para o público em geral e para os agentes culturais em particular.
